About Fairfield Homes
Fairfield Homes says it has built homes for more than 40 years. David Williamson and his father, Lowell Williamson, began buying land together in the early 1980s, including a large acquisition in Green Valley, and in 1992 acquired Fairfield Homes — then a publicly traded homebuilder — and took it private. It now has more than 17 communities in the Tucson metro area and oversees each one from conceptual planning to completion.
Its homes are architect-designed semi-custom and custom plans that can be tailored, with options such as RV garages and the help of a professional interior designer. Fairfield confirms the base price at contract and quotes HERS energy ratings in the 50s; lot premiums and HOA dues are extra.
