Choose Stone Canyon if…

Gated golf estates in the Tortolita foothills

  • You want a large custom home on a view lot of an acre or more — nearly every Stone Canyon sale is one.
  • A private club is the point: the Club at Stone Canyon, with its Jay Morrish-designed course, tennis, pickleball, fitness and pools. Membership is separate from the home, so ask what a given property conveys.
  • An Oro Valley address and the Amphitheater School District (Ironwood Ridge High School) suit you.

Choose Dove Mountain if…

Resort-caliber living in the Tortolitas

  • Resort living matters — The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain anchors the community, alongside the Ritz-Carlton Residences and the Gallery Golf Club.
  • You want choice: Dove Mountain's gated villages sell many times as many homes as Stone Canyon, from newer semi-custom homes to custom estates.
  • Marana schools and I-10 access via the Twin Peaks Interchange fit your commute.
