About Pepper Viner Homes
The Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA) has named Pepper Viner its Builder of the Year eight times — 2000, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2024 — a record for the award. The company was founded in 1985 by Phillip Pepper and William Viner as a commercial real estate and multi-family developer, turned to building new homes in the early 1990s, and has built more than 2,500 homes in over 40 communities.
Buyers start from a Pepper Viner floor plan and change it through DesignFlex — moving or deleting interior walls, adding windows or doors, expanding rooms, raising ceilings — then choose finishes such as lighting, countertops and flooring. Its Custom Home Division will also build one of its plans on your own lot. Every home meets ENERGY STAR® Version 3 standards, with third-party testing at three stages of construction, and its smart-home features include a Google Nest thermostat, a Wi-Fi garage door opener, a video doorbell and a smart front-door lock.
